Q: Are worship flags in the Bible?
A: From our personal study and understanding of the Bible, we do not see 'worship flags' in scripture. Called to Flag does believe though, that banners & flags are definitely in the Bible but mostly for identification (ie. whose tribe you belong to) or as signals (ie war, proclamation, declarations, etc). Flags & banners make a powerful statement.
From what we can find historically, flags/banners when used within context, and flags were planted, held, waved or raised but not danced with. We do not believe there is biblical proof that they were used to dance with or waved in dance/intercession in front of an army or before the soldiers. Most Bible references often used online have been mistakenly taken out of context and our desire is to stay as biblically accurate as possible.
While Called to Flag definitely believes in the annointing that is on flagging in worship, we believe that currently this generation mainly uses flags to dance & worship before God as an expression of worship towards our loving Father.
Q: Is worship & dance in the Bible?

Q: Can you intercede with your flags?
A: Yes! Called to Flag believes anyone who calls him/herself a child of God can intercede. There is nothing in the Bible that says you cannot do it without flags.
Q: Do certain moves/gestures make demons flee or command angels?
A: Called to Flag believes God commands angels, not us. The moves that we make while flagging do not make angels do things or make demons flee. The biblical way for the commanding of angels is found in several places. It is this: the people of God pray, God hears their prayer, God sends His angel(s).
ie. God "sent his angel" to deliver Daniel from the mouths of the lions in the den of lions (Daniel 6:22)
ie. Moses spoke of when the children of Israel "cried unto the LORD, he heard our voice, and sent an angel, and hath brought us forth out of Egypt" (Numbers 20:16).
Q: Spiritual warfare?
A: Called to Flag believes praise & worship is the highest form of warfare that is possible against the enemy of our soul. When we focus our attention on God in praise - any form of it - we bring life into our hearts and into the atmosphere around us. Worshiping God with laser like focus, rather than looking at the enemy, is the best form of warfare - refusing to give the enemy our time or attention! Praising God brings His presence to us. Praising Him keeps our focus on the Prince of Peace rather than the prince of the power of the air. If God is in the room with you who else dares to be in the same place?
“Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament! Praise Him for His mighty acts; praise Him according to His excellent greatness! Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; praise Him with the lute and harp! Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!
